How it compares to the FX5-C32ET/D
The sibling FX5-C32ET/D shares the same 32-point connector form factor and physical dimensions, but splits its I/O — 16 inputs and 16 transistor outputs. The FX5-C32EX/D on this page is a straight 32-output block. If your panel was wired around the C32ET/D expecting field terminations for both inputs and outputs, dropping in this C32EX/D without rewiring won't work: you'd lose the input side entirely. Choose the C32EX/D only when the application calls for a dense bank of 32 transistor outputs, not mixed I/O.
