What this module is in the FX5 stack
The Mitsubishi FX5-C32EYT/DSS-TS is a 32-point transistor output expansion module that hangs off an FX5-series head, addressed and powered from the backplane like the other slices in the FX5 I/O family. Its job is to grow digital output density on a panel that has already exhausted the points on the CPU or a primary I/O block, and it uses a screw-terminal strip for field wiring rather than the typical push-in cage on smaller slices.
