What it is, in plain terms
The Mitsubishi FX5-CCLGN-MS is a CC-Link IE TSN communication module for the MELSEC iQ-F FX5 PLC platform — it plugs into the FX5 backplane as an expansion module to bring Time-Sensitive Networking onto the CPU, so networked drives, remote I/O and partner controllers can ride the same deterministic Ethernet line as the rest of the cell. It is filed as a PLC expansion module under PLCs and Accessories, which matches its physical role in the panel: a sidecar slice that adds the network port the base CPU doesn't carry on its own.
Panel-side integration note
As an FX5 expansion slice, the module drops onto the same bus arrangement the rest of the FX5 I/O uses, so a panel that already mounts other FX5 expansion modules has the DIN real estate and backplane connector prepared — no separate rack or dedicated slot is needed beyond the standard FX5 expansion arrangement.
