CC-Link IE Field Slave at 1 Gbps
The Mitsubishi FX5-CCLIEF is a CC-Link IE Field slave module that communicates at 1 Gbps via token passing, delivering deterministic data exchange for real-time control. It supports line, star, and ring topologies — ring topology adds redundancy for critical process lines. Station numbers are set by parameter or program, ranging from 1 to 120, without hardware DIP switches. Maximum station-to-station cable distance is 100 m on Cat5e (ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B), and up to 20 cascade stages are allowed for longer runs.
Integration on the FX5 Rack
Network topology choice affects cable routing — ring topology requires a return path to the master. Use shielded Cat5e cables with the plug connector inserted fully to maintain 100 m segment lengths.
