Panel fit and display characteristics
The Mitsubishi GT1575-STBA is a 10.4-inch TFT color LCD HMI from the GT15 series, running at 800 × 600 dot resolution with a 256-color or 65536-color palette. The LCD panel delivers 350 cd/m² typical brightness, dropping to 280 cd/m² under certain conditions — adequate for indoor cabinet-door mounting where ambient light is controlled. Viewing angles are specified at 50 degrees left/right, 35 degrees top, and 45 degrees bottom, so the display is readable from a seated operator position but not designed for wide-angle viewing across a factory floor.
Memory and project storage
The C drive provides 9 MB of built-in flash memory allocated for project data and the operating system. For a 10.4-inch panel at 800 × 600 resolution, 9 MB accommodates moderate screen counts with bitmap graphics; complex projects with multiple recipe screens or trend graphs will need careful memory budgeting. The 16-dot standard font fits 50 characters × 37 lines; the 12-dot font fits 66 characters × 50 lines.
Backlight life and operating environment
The backlight is rated for approximately 50,000 hours at an operating ambient temperature of 25 °C. That translates to roughly 5.7 years of continuous 24/7 operation before the backlight dims to half brightness. At higher panel temperatures inside an enclosure the life will derate; the 50,000 h figure is the reference point for planning a preventive replacement window.
