Panel fit and display specs
The GT1665M-VTBD is an 8.4-inch TFT color liquid crystal display HMI from the Mitsubishi GT1000 series, with a high-intensity, wide-angle viewing design. Resolution is 640x480 dots across 65536 colors, and the analog resistive film touch panel gives you reliable gloved-hand or stylus input on the factory floor. Project and OS storage runs off a C-drive built-in flash memory of 15 MB — enough for a medium-complexity screen set with tag data and alarms. The cold cathode fluorescent tube backlight is field-replaceable and includes a shutoff detection function; you can set the backlight-off or screen-saver timing in the runtime environment. External dimensions are 241 (W) x 190 (H) x 52 (D) mm; the panel cutout is 227 x 176 mm. That cutout is the dimension you need for your enclosure prep — standard for the GT1000 8.4-inch family, so if you're swapping from an older GT15xx unit, check the cutout matches.
The battery is a GT15-BAT lithium cell — a common consumable across the GT1000 family. Keep a spare on the shelf; the HMI will flag low battery before it loses time and SRAM data.
Integration notes
The backlight is a cold cathode fluorescent tube, not LED. The replaceable design includes a shutoff detection function.
