Panel fit and display specifics
The GT1672-VNBA is a 10.4" TFT color LCD HMI from Mitsubishi's GOT1000 series, delivering 4096 colors on an analog resistive touch panel. The panel cutout measures 28.9 cm by 20 cm, with external dimensions of 4.9 cm deep by 30.3 cm wide by 21.4 cm tall — confirm the enclosure opening matches before cutting steel. The backlight is a cold-cathode fluorescent tube (CCFL), replaceable in the field. It includes a backlight OFF detection function, and both backlight off time and screen save time are configurable through the unit. Power supply is 100 to 240 VAC (+10% / -15%), 50/60 Hz ±5%, drawing up to 100 VA apparent power at maximum load. Typical consumption runs 39 W or less. That 100 VA peak matters when sizing the control transformer — don't undershoot on inrush.
Integration notes
Display area is 21.1 cm by 15.8 cm, giving a usable image size of roughly 8.3" by 6.2". The TFT runs at native 640×480 VGA resolution — fine for numeric displays and simple graphics, but bitmap-heavy screens will feel cramped compared to the 800×600 or 1024×768 panels common today.
