3.8" monochrome HMI for washdown zones
The GT2103-PMBD is a current-production GOT2000 series HMI from Mitsubishi Electric, built for environments where standard HMIs fail — the IP67F front rating means the display and bezel survive high-pressure washdown, making it a fit for food, beverage, and chemical processing lines where hose-down cleaning is routine. The 3.8-inch monochrome TFT display runs at 320x128 pixel resolution, enough for operator prompts, alarm lists, and simple machine status screens without the cost of a color panel. Power is 24 VDC, and the unit carries one Ethernet port plus one RS-422/485 serial port for connecting to PLCs, drives, or Modbus networks.
Network and connectivity fit
The Ethernet port supports Modbus TCP and Mitsubishi's own MELSEC protocol; the RS-422/485 port handles Modbus RTU, so the panel talks to most PLC families without a protocol converter. An SD memory card slot allows project transfer, data logging, and firmware updates without a USB cable — useful when the panel is mounted in a sealed enclosure. The USB port provides an alternative for programming and data export when the SD slot is not accessible.
Compliance and approvals stack
The GT2103-PMBD carries CE, UKCA, EAC, and UL/cUL compliance marks, covering European, UK, Eurasian, and North American regulatory jurisdictions without separate certification runs. Marine-type approvals from ABS, BV, DNV, LR, NK, and RINA mean this HMI is accepted for bridge and engine-room installations on vessels classed by those societies — a rare combination for a compact monochrome panel.
