The GT2308-VTBA is an 8.4-inch TFT color HMI from Mitsubishi's GT2308 series, running on 100-240 VAC. It offers VGA resolution (640 x 480) with 65536 colors, a backlight rated for approximately 5 years (50,000 hours to half brightness at 25°C ambient), and a black bezel. Communication options include one Ethernet port (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX, RJ-45) and one RS-422/485 port (D-sub 9-pin female), plus a USB host and USB device port. An SDHC card slot supports cards up to 32 GB.
Mounting & wiring notes
Panel cutout dimensions match the GT1665 and GT1565 series, so if you're swapping an older unit the hole pattern stays the same. Clamp terminals accept 0.75 to 2 mm² wire with M3 screws. Inrush current peaks at 40 A for 4 ms at 25°C; size the power supply branch accordingly. Standalone consumption is 9 W.
Communication & I/O
The Ethernet port supports 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX. The RS-422/485 port runs at 4800 to 115200 baud. The USB host port can connect a keyboard or memory stick; the USB device port is for PC transfer. The SDHC slot accepts cards up to 32 GB for recipe or log storage.
