The Mitsubishi GT2708-STBD is an 8.4-inch SVGA (800 x 600) TFT color graphic operation terminal from the GOT2000 series, built for control-panel mounting and operator interaction on automated lines. It is an advanced model with multi-touch gesture functions, meaning the operator can pinch-zoom, swipe, and rotate screens — useful for navigating large machine layouts or zooming into alarm details without digging through menu layers. Power is 24 VDC (input range +25% / -20%) and the unit draws 13 W standalone, or 8 W with the backlight off. Inrush current is held to 5 A or less for 20 ms, so a standard 24 VDC supply with 150% headroom handles the startup transient.
Designed for inside a control panel, the GT2708-STBD uses clamp terminals accepting 0.75 to 2 mm² wire with M3 screw terminals. Tightening torque is 0.5 to 0.8 N·m — standard for a panel-wiring terminal block. Operating temperature range is 0 to 55 °C horizontally mounted, derated to 0 to 50 °C if installed vertically. Pollution degree 2 (normal factory floor) and overvoltage category II — typical for a panel-mounted HMI.
