Rated output and torque — the load-handling envelope
The HG-SN202J-S100 delivers 2.0 kW continuous mechanical output with a rated torque of 9.55 N·m at 2000 r/min, and can reach 3000 r/min maximum speed (instantaneous permissible speed 3450 r/min). This torque rating is the figure that governs the acceleration capability of the driven load — provided the load-to-motor inertia ratio stays at or below 15:1, the servo loop can tune without instability or excessive following error. Rated current is 9.6 A, with a peak of 31 A during acceleration or reversal. The drive amplifier must be sized to supply that peak current without saturating the bus; a 31 A peak draw over the motor's thermal time constant will push the winding temperature toward the Class 155 (F) insulation limit if the duty cycle is sustained.
IP67 enclosure and environmental limits
The motor is totally enclosed with natural cooling and an IP67 rating — the housing seals against dust ingress and temporary submersion, making it suitable for washdown zones in food processing or high-humidity packaging lines. There is no external fan, so the 0–40 °C ambient operating range must be respected; above 40 °C the winding temperature rise will exceed the Class 155 (F) ceiling unless the duty cycle is derated. Altitude is limited to 2000 m or less above sea level — above that the air density drops and natural convection cooling degrades, requiring a further derating of output torque. The vibration resistance is specified at 24.5 m/s² in the X-axis and 49 m/s² in the Y-axis, which is typical for direct-coupled rotary applications; a belt drive or high-inertia load may excite resonances that exceed these limits.
