The MR-J4-700AA: Analog/pulse interface means you wire the command signal directly to the CN3 connector — no option card needed for basic torque, speed, or position control. The pulse train input accepts line-driver or open-collector signals up to 4 Mpps, which covers most incremental encoder-based motion controllers. Watch the input impedance on the analog command: 10 kΩ differential, so the source drive must be able to swing ±10 V into that load without droop.
