Servo amplifier for 200W class motors, SSCNET III/H networked
The Mitsubishi MR-JE-20B is a 200W servo amplifier rated for 1.5 A continuous output current, driving a 3-phase 170 V AC motor from a 200 V AC single- or three-phase supply (permissible range 170 V AC to 264 V AC, ±5% frequency). It communicates over SSCNET III/H at a cycle of 0.444 ms or 0.888 ms, which keeps position updates tight for coordinated multi-axis motion on a single fiber-optic ring. The control method is sine-wave PWM current control, and a dynamic brake is built in — no external braking resistor needed for stopping the motor under normal deceleration. The interface power supply is 24 V DC ± 10%, drawing 0.3 A.
Power supply and wiring flexibility
The MR-JE-20B accepts single-phase or three-phase 200 V AC input. Close mounting is possible with three-phase input; single-phase input is not supported for close mounting. The amplifier is force-cooled, open type, IP20 — so it needs to live inside an enclosure with adequate ventilation. No washdown rating; keep it dry and away from conductive dust.
