The Mitsubishi Q02HCPU is a high-performance CPU for the Q-series modular PLC platform. It executes logic at 79 ns per instruction, giving you deterministic scan control for mid-to-large applications. Program capacity runs to 28 k steps, and the I/O image supports up to 4096 points (8192 with remote I/O expansion).
With 28 k steps of program space, you have room for a couple of hundred rungs of ladder plus structured text without filling the memory. The 79 ns/instruction cycle time keeps scans tight even when you add PID loops or comms handling. I/O capacity of 4096 points (local or 8192 with remote) means one CPU can run a whole machine cell or a building's HVAC zone without needing a second rack. The module draws its power from the Q-series backplane and stores program and data in RAM backed by a battery, with ROM/Flash for boot and firmware. That means you can keep a redundant copy of the project on the SD card slot (if equipped) and swap CPUs without re-downloading.
