The Q172CPUN is a Mitsubishi Q series motion controller supporting PTP (point-to-point) control, constant-speed positioning, and high-speed oscillation control. Its interpolation function handles up to 4 axes for linear moves, 2 axes for circular arcs, and 3 axes for helical paths — covering the common motion profiles in pick-and-place, packaging, and machine tool applications. Backlash compensation and electronic gear are built in, so the controller can correct for mechanical hysteresis directly without an external compensation module.
