The Mitsubishi Q62DAN is a Digital-Analog Converter Module for the MELSEC-Q series PLCs, converting 16-bit signed binary digital data to a DC 0–20 mA analog current output with selectable resolution modes: standard (-4096 to 4095) or high (-12288 to 12287 / -16384 to 16383). Photocoupler isolation separates the I/O terminals from the PLC power supply, and transformer isolation sits between the analog output and the external power supply — no isolation between output channels.
Mounting and Integration
Occupies 16 I/O points on the Q-series backplane, configured as an intelligent 16-point module. The 18-point terminal block accepts wire sizes 0.3 to 0.75 mm². Insulation resistance between I/O terminals and PLC power supply is 500 VDC, 20 MΩ or more; dielectric strength is 500 VAC for one minute.
