24 VDC power for the MELSEC Q rack
Mitsubishi's Q63P is a power supply module that mounts in the dedicated slot of a MELSEC Q series base unit, converting 24 VDC (15.6 to 31.2 VDC tolerance) to the internal logic voltage. A built-in fuse is permanently integrated — user-replacement is not possible, so a blown fuse means exchanging the module. Efficiency is spec'd at 70% minimum. Inrush current peaks at 100 A for under 1 ms at 24 VDC input. The module tolerates a momentary power loss up to 10 ms at the same input voltage.
Rack fit and wiring
A green LED indicates normal operation; it extinguishes on fault or fuse loss. Insulation resistance is 10 MΩ minimum, and dielectric withstand is 500 VAC between primary and the 5 VDC isolated side.
