The Q68DAIN: Output circuits have short-circuit protection built in. If a field wire gets pinched or a terminal block goes to ground, the module doesn't smoke — it just shuts that channel down until you clear the fault.
If you need analog inputs, the R60AD8-G is an 8-channel analog input for iQ-R — again, not the same rack. For Q-series analog input, you'd want a QX or QY series module, not this one.
