8-channel analog output for Q-series racks

The Q68DAVN Digital-Analog Converter Module provides 8 analog output channels, each configurable for -10 VDC to 10 VDC signals, and occupies 16 I/O points on the Q-series backplane. In high resolution mode the 16-bit signed binary input accepts -12288 to 12287, enough to drive a full 16-bit DAC span for precision process loops. Output short-circuit protection is included, so a miswired field line won't take down the channel.

Terminal and power wiring

Wire with 0.3 to 0.75 mm² solid or stranded conductors using R1.25-3 ring terminals; sleeved crimp terminals will not fit the 18-point terminal block. Photocoupler isolation separates I/O terminals from the PLC power side, and transformer isolation protects the analog output from the external supply — both rated at 500 VAC dielectric.
