The Mitsubishi QD70D8 is an 8-axis pulse positioning module for the Q-series PLC. It handles point-to-point (PTP) and linear trajectory control, outputting differential pulses at up to 4 M pulse/s per axis.
What the ratings mean for fit
Eight independent axes each command a servo or stepper via differential output — the 4 M pulse/s ceiling suits high-speed positioning for assembly or pick-and-place cells. Trapezoidal or S-curve acceleration profiles are configurable per axis, with acceleration times from 0 to 32767 ms. Wiring is via four 40-pin connectors (A6CON1, A6CON2, A6CON4, sold separately). Maximum cable run between drive units is 10 m; keep that in mind for panel layout.
