The Mitsubishi QD75M4 is a 4-axis positioning module that communicates with servo amplifiers over the high-speed SSCNET serial link, storing up to 600 positioning data points per axis. It's designed to work with MR-J2S general-purpose servo amplifiers, giving you coordinated motion across four axes from a single slot in the Q-series rack.
Handling up to 600 data points per axis
Each of the four axes can hold 600 positioning data sets internally, reducing the need for the PLC to feed positions one by one. That means tighter sequences and fewer fetch cycles over the backplane.
SSCNET – the only link to the drive
The QD75M4 uses SSCNET (high-speed serial communication) to talk to the servo amplifier. No pulse train, no analog command – just a single fiber or cable pair per axis. Make sure your selected amplifier, like the MR-J2S-□B series, supports SSCNET.
External signal interface
The module accepts DC 24 V level signals for limit switches, near-point dog, stop, and speed/position switching – up to 5 points per shaft. That covers home return, overtravel, and external interrupt conditions without extra I/O wiring.
