1-axis positioning with open collector output
The QD75P1N is a single-axis positioning module for Mitsubishi PLC systems, outputting pulse trains via open collector outputs at up to 200 kpps. It occupies 32 I/O points as an intelligent module, drawing 0.29 A from the 5 V backplane. Control methods include PTP (point-to-point), linear/circular/helical trajectory, speed control, and position/speed switching — all selectable per positioning data block. Acceleration/deceleration uses trapezoidal or S-curve profiles with independent accel/decel times per pattern.
Positioning range and data storage
Positioning data is stored in flash ROM with no battery required — parameters, positioning data, and block start data survive power loss without a backup battery. The module supports 600 positioning data points per axis. Command units can be set to mm, inch, degree, or pulse. The absolute positioning range spans ±214748364.8 μm, ±21474.83648 inch, 0 to 359.99999 degree, or ±2147483648 pulses. Incremental positioning covers the same range.
Wiring and physical fit
External wiring connects through a 40-pin connector (mates with A6CON1, A6CON2, or A6CON4, sold separately). Maximum cable distance between the module and servo drive is 2 m. The module measures 27.4 mm wide, 98 mm high, and 90 mm deep.
