2-axis open-collector positioning for Mitsubishi Q-series racks
The QD75P2N is a 2-axis positioning module for the Mitsubishi Q-series PLC platform, using open-collector pulse output to drive stepper or servo drives. It occupies 32 I/O points as an intelligent module and connects via a 40-pin front connector (A6CON1, A6CON2, or A6CON4, sold separately). Maximum output pulse rate is 200 kpps per axis, with a speed command range from 1 pps up to 4,000,000 pps — sufficient for most incremental motion profiles in packaging, assembly, and material handling. Positioning data storage is battery-less: parameters, positioning data, and block start data save to flash ROM, eliminating battery replacement maintenance on the module itself.
Motion control capabilities and trajectory handling
Supports PTP (point-to-point) control plus trajectory control including linear, circular, and helical interpolation across both axes. Control methods cover speed control, speed/position switching, and position/speed switching. Acceleration/deceleration processing offers both trapezoidal and S-curve profiles, with four settable patterns each for accel and decel times (1 to 8,388,608 ms range). Startup time for single-axis linear control is 1.5 ms; 2-axis circular interpolation completes in 2.0 ms. Positioning range covers ±214,748,364.8 μm in incremental mode, or 0 to 359.99999 degrees in absolute rotary mode. Control units can be mm, inch, degree, or pulse — selectable per application.
Typical lead time is 1–10 working days per the listing.
