What this module does
The Mitsubishi QD81DL96 is a Q-series data logging module that captures PLC data under two modes: continuous logging and trigger logging. It handles up to 64 events per logging setting and stores data in CSV or Excel files (up to 256 records). File switching can be based on record count, file size, a constant period, or time-of-day triggers. The module supports email notifications on event occurrence and can send stored files via SMTP with MIME encoding (Version 1.0). FTP client and server functions allow remote file transfer and recipe file management. Data types logged include bit, word, double word (signed and unsigned), single/double precision real, and 16/32-bit BCD. Scaling arithmetic supports combined multiply/divide and add/subtract operations.
