Point capacity and cycle time
The Mitsubishi QJ71GF11-T2 is a CC-Link IE Field master station module. It handles 16384 points each for RX and RY, plus 8192 points each for RWr and RWw – enough for large distributed I/O or motion systems. Communication runs at 1 Gbps using token passing, which keeps deterministic cycle times even with full node counts.
Topology and cabling
Supports line, star, and ring topologies, and you can mix line and star on the same network. On a ring, the maximum cable length reaches 12100 m with one master and 120 slaves; line topology maxes at 12000 m under the same conditions. Station-to-station distance is limited to 100 m per ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B. The module requires Category 5e or better double-shielded STP Ethernet cable, straight wired, compatible with 1000BASE-T. Occupies 32 I/O points in the Q-series base rack, drawing 0.85 A from the 5 VDC backplane supply.
