The Mitsubishi QY42P is a 64-point transistor output module for the MELSEC Q series PLC backplane, rated 12–24 VDC and 0.1 A per point with a 2 A common limit. Outputs are sink type, so the load connects between the positive supply and the output terminal—standard for driving DC solenoids, indicator lamps, and smaller contactors. The module occupies 27.4 mm of rack width, packing 64 channels into that footprint for high-density layouts.
