DC coil contactor, 95 A frame
The SD-N95DC24V: The DC coil is the defining spec for this variant — it pulls in and holds on a 24 VDC supply, which is common in battery-backed or PLC-sourced control circuits where you want the contactor to stay closed through a brief AC dip. The N95 current rating means it switches motor loads up to 95 A in AC-3 duty, covering 45 kW to 55 kW three-phase motors at 400 V. The frame size and terminal spacing are sized for that current — expect M10 or M12 power terminations on the line and load sides.
Panel fit and coil selection
The 24 VDC coil is polarity-sensitive on some Mitsubishi contactor families — confirm the coil terminal markings before wiring. The DC coil has no hum, which is useful in noise-sensitive areas like audio or instrumentation rooms.
