The Omron 3G3RX-B4900-V1 is a 400 VAC 3-phase AC drive rated for 176 A constant torque, which translates to 120 HP. Control options cover V/f, sensorless vector, and closed-loop vector, so the same drive can run a simple fan curve or a closed-loop positioning axis with an encoder. The 0.01–400 Hz speed range handles high-speed spindle applications as well as low-speed conveyor creep. Modbus is built in, no option card needed for basic PLC communication. Flow-chart logic programming is available on board for standalone sequencing without a separate controller.
Vertical mount only — the heat sink fins rely on natural convection. Laying it flat or on its side starves the IGBT cooling and will trip on overtemperature under load. Panel layout should leave clearance above and below for airflow.
