The Omron 61F-G AC110/220 is a High/Low Level controller from the 61F series, designed for conductive liquid level detection in tanks, reservoirs, and process vessels. It operates on a 110/220VAC supply and provides a SPDT (2 Form C) relay output rated at 5A @ 220VAC, switching pump or valve loads directly without an intermediate contactor for smaller motors. Sensitivity is adjustable from 0 to 4 kOhm, which means it can detect liquids with conductivity as low as distilled water or as high as conductive slurries — the 4 kOhm upper limit covers most industrial process fluids. The control-to-sensor distance extends up to 1 km, allowing the controller to be mounted in a central panel while the probe sits at a remote tank.
Mounting and wiring
Chassis-mount package with screw terminals — no DIN-rail adapter, so plan for a panel backplate or enclosure baseplate. The screw terminals accept up to 2.5 mm² stranded wire; strip length around 8 mm avoids stray strands under the clamp. Operating temperature range -10°C to 55°C covers most indoor industrial environments but not freezers or outdoor enclosures without climate control.
