What it is and what it does
The Omron 61F-G1P AC200 is a conductive level controller from the 61F series, configured as a High/Low Level type. It monitors liquid levels via electrode probes and switches a relay when the resistance between probes crosses the set threshold. Sensitivity is adjustable from 0 to 4 kOhm, which covers most conductive liquids from tap water to weak acids or alkaline solutions. The SPDT relay (2 Form C) is rated for 5 A at 200 VAC, sufficient to directly pilot a small pump or valve contactor. The control distance between the controller and the sensor probes can reach 1 km, making it practical for remote tank farms or sumps where the controller sits in a central panel and the probes are at the vessel.
Supply and integration
Runs on a 200 VAC supply — common in Japanese-origin panels and some European 200 V line-to-line systems. The socketable mounting (15-pin octal base) means the controller can be swapped without disturbing field wiring; the base stays on the DIN rail or panel. Operating temperature range is -10°C to 55°C, so it is suited for indoor control cabinets but not for direct outdoor exposure or freezer environments. Built-in features include Alarm Low - Contact and Idling Prevention. The alarm low contact signals when the level drops below the low probe; idling prevention stops the pump from running dry, which protects the pump and avoids cavitation.
