What it is and what it does
The Omron 61F-G2PH AC100 is a conductive liquid level controller from the 61F series, operating on a 100VAC supply. It's a High/Low Level type — meaning it maintains liquid between two electrode probes, energizing the fill pump when low and cutting it at high, with an alarm-high contact for overfill warning. Sensitivity is adjustable from 0 to 4kOhm, which covers most conductive liquids from clean water to mildly contaminated process fluids. The control-to-sensor distance can run up to 1 km, so the controller can sit in a central panel while the probes are out at the tank.
Outputs and wiring
Two relay outputs: one SPST-NO (Form A) for the pump or valve, and one SPDT (Form C) for the alarm. Each relay is rated 5A at 200VAC — enough to switch a small contactor or pilot light directly. Termination is a 15-pin octal plug-in base. The socketable form factor means you can swap the controller in seconds without disturbing field wiring — useful for maintenance or if you're stocking spares across multiple panels.
Where it fits
Rated for -10°C to 55°C ambient, so it's fine inside a ventilated panel or a weatherproof enclosure. The socket mounts on a DIN rail or panel surface; the 15-pin octal base is a common footprint shared with other 61F-series controllers and some general-purpose relays.
Lifecycle and sourcing
Status is Active per Omron's current lifecycle records. No end-of-life notice or last-time-buy window is in effect. The part is sourced through independent distribution and quoted to order against an RFQ — availability and current pricing confirmed at quote time.
