What it is and what it does
The Omron 61F-GP-N8 AC100 is a High/Low Level liquid level controller from the 61F series, operating on a 100VAC supply. It uses a relay output with SPDT (2 Form C) contacts rated at 3A @ 250VAC, and its sensitivity is adjustable from 0 to 4kOhm, making it suitable for conductive liquid level detection in tanks, reservoirs, or process vessels. The control-to-sensor distance extends up to 1km, which allows the controller to be panel-mounted while the probe sits at a remote tank location — common in water treatment, chemical dosing, or cooling tower setups where the panel is centralized and the tank is out on the plant floor.
Mounting and wiring
Socketable with an 8-pin octal plug-in termination — mates to a standard 8-pin octal relay socket (sold separately). The socket itself mounts to a panel or DIN rail; the controller simply plugs in, making swap-out fast when a unit fails on a live line. Operating temperature range of -10°C to 55°C covers most indoor industrial environments but may need derating or enclosure ventilation if mounted near a hot process pipe or in a non-conditioned cabinet.
