What this controller does
The Omron 61F-GP-N8 AC120 is a High/Low level liquid level controller that detects conductive liquid levels through two probe electrodes. The sensitivity adjustment from 0 to 4 kOhm lets you tune the detection threshold for different liquid conductivities — useful when switching between water, dilute chemicals, or other conductive fluids without changing the controller. It operates on 120 VAC supply and switches loads through an SPDT relay contact rated at 3 A at 250 VAC. The relay gives you one normally-open and one normally-closed set of Form C contacts, so you can wire both fill and drain pump control from a single unit. The 8-pin octal plug-in termination means the controller body pulls out of its socket without disturbing field wiring — a time-saver during panel maintenance or swap-out. The maximum distance from controller to sensor probes is 1 km, which covers most tank farms and remote sump installations.
Mounting and integration
Socketable design — the controller mounts into a standard 8-pin octal relay base (sold separately). The base can be DIN-rail or panel-mounted, so you can integrate it into an existing control cabinet without drilling new holes. The operating temperature range of -10°C to 55°C covers indoor panel environments and most outdoor enclosures with basic climate control.
