The Omron 61F-GP-N8 AC240 is a high/low level controller from the 61F series, designed for conductive liquid level sensing in tanks, reservoirs, and process vessels. It operates on a 240VAC supply and switches a SPDT (2 Form C) relay contact rated at 3A at 250VAC — enough to drive a small pump contactor or alarm annunciator directly. Sensitivity is adjustable from 0 to 4 kOhm, which means it can detect liquids with a wide range of conductivity — from clean water down to low-conductivity process fluids. The 1 km maximum distance between controller and sensor head lets you place the controller in the panel and run probe wires across a large tank farm or outdoor sump without a signal booster.
Mounting and Termination
Socketable with an 8-pin octal plug base — mates to standard 8-pin relay sockets. The socket clips onto DIN rail or panel-mounts with screws, so the controller body can be swapped in seconds without rewiring.
