The Omron 61F-GP-N8L-2KM AC120 is a High/Low Level controller from the 61F series, designed to detect and control liquid levels in tanks, reservoirs, or process vessels. It operates on a 120VAC supply and uses a relay output with SPDT (2 Form C) contacts rated at 3A at 250VAC for switching pumps, valves, or alarms. The sensitivity range of 0 to 1.3kOhm means it can detect conductive liquids across a wide resistivity span — from highly conductive water to less conductive fluids like certain chemicals or slurries — without needing a separate amplifier. The 2km maximum distance between controller and sensor allows remote tank monitoring across large plant sites.
Where it fits in a panel
The 61F-GP-N8L-2KM AC120 mounts via an 8-pin octal socket (sold separately), which snaps onto standard DIN rail or panel-mounts. The plug-in termination style means you can pre-wire the socket and swap the controller without touching field wiring — useful for maintenance or replacement on a live line. Operating temperature range of -10°C to 55°C covers most indoor control panel environments; it is not rated for outdoor or washdown deployment without an enclosure.
