Floatless Level Switch for Conductive Liquid Level Control
The Omron 61FLSCP08NRA is a floatless level switch from the 61F-LS series, designed to detect and control liquid levels using the conductivity of the fluid — no moving floats.
The 100–230 VAC supply range covers standard line voltages across most industrial and commercial sites — 110 V, 120 V, 208 V, 220 V, 230 V — without needing a separate control transformer. The 1CO (single-pole changeover) relay gives you one normally-open and one normally-closed contact set, enough to drive a contactor coil or a PLC digital input for level status. The 160 ms response time means the relay picks up or drops out within about a sixth of a second after the probe detects a change in conductivity; that's fast enough for tank-level control but not for high-speed fill lines where you'd want a solid-state output.
That means you can pre-wire the socket, then clip the switch in place; replacement or swap-out takes seconds without disturbing the panel wiring. The plug-in termination also simplifies commissioning: pull the module, check the probe wiring at the connector, and reinsert.
