The 64-output count: what it means for your BOM
The CJ1W-B7A04: The B7A04 handles 64 output points, a high density for the CJ1W family. Compare that to the 16 solid-state outputs on the CJ1W-OD212. If your machine needs more than 16 discrete outputs per slot, the B7A04 saves three slots on the rack. Each point is brought out to a screw terminal – which means field wiring without additional connector blocks, but also that wire count per module is higher. Plan your wireway fill and terminal strip labeling accordingly; 64 circuits in one module demand more panel space at the gland plate than four 16-point modules would.
