Communications gateway for CJ Series racks
The Omron CJ1W-ETN21 is a communications module that fits the CJ Series backplane, handling standard 100BASE-TX Ethernet (TCP/IP) traffic. It mounts to the DIN rail in the same slot pattern as other CJ1W modules, and termination is via the built-in RJ45 connector. Approved for use in panels requiring CE, cULus, Lloyd, or NK certification, so it suits marine and general industrial environments without additional paperwork.
Panel fit and wiring
DIN Rail mounting keeps alignment with neighboring CJ1W modules; the RJ45 port handles standard shielded or unshielded patch cables. The module is powered from the CJ backplane — no separate supply needed. Slot it into any free I/O slot on the rack, then set the IP address via the CX-Programmer or via the module's built-in web interface.
