32-point DC input density for the CJ backplane
The CJ1W-ID232 packs 32 digital DC inputs into a single slot on the CJ-series backplane — that is 32 field-device signals per module, each sinking 24 VDC nominal through the rectangular connector to the CPU's I/O map. It mounts on the standard DIN rail alongside the CPU and other CJ-series modules, sharing the backplane connector for power and data. The input density means fewer slots consumed for high-channel-count applications — a 128-input rack uses four of these instead of eight 16-point modules.
Regulatory acceptance for global panels
Carries CE, cULus, Lloyd, and NK approvals — this module is accepted in European machinery (CE), North American UL-listed panels (cULus), marine-class installations (Lloyd), and Japanese shipbuilding (NK). No separate certification paperwork needed for these jurisdictions.
