The Omron CJ1W-NC214 is a 2-axis motion control module for the CJ Series PLC platform, operating at 24VDC and mounted on DIN rail. It handles coordinated positioning tasks such as pick-and-place or indexing, using the CJ bus for high-speed pulse output to stepper or servo drives.
Not a drop-in for the CP1W-32ET output module
The CP1W-32ET is a 32-point solid-state output module with screw terminals. The CJ1W-NC214 is a motion controller with a rectangular connector interface for encoder/pulse cables, uses the CJ series backplane, and is not a functional substitute. Different bus, different wiring, different role.
Panel mounting and wiring notes
Mounts on DIN rail within the CJ series rack. The rectangular connector carries pulse output signals and encoder feedback. Use the dedicated Omron cable (sold separately) for the CN1 port.
