What it is and what it delivers
The Omron CJ1W-PA202 is a power supply module for the CJ Series programmable controllers, delivering a regulated 14W output at 5VDC, 2.8A from a 100~240VAC input. This is the module that powers the CPU rack and any connected I/O or special-function units — without it, the backplane has no logic rail. It mounts on a standard DIN rail and terminates via screw terminals, which is the expected interface for panel builders wiring the AC mains into the rack. The 14W capacity is sized for a base CPU plus a modest complement of expansion units; if your configuration pulls more than 2.8A on the 5V rail, you step up to the higher-output PA204.
Approvals and operating range
Carries CE, cULus, Lloyd, and NK approvals, so it is accepted across North American, European, and marine-class installations. The 0°C to 55°C operating temperature covers most control cabinet environments without forced cooling, though derating applies above 40°C per standard Omron practice.
