The Omron CJ1W-SCU32 is a serial high-speed communication unit that mounts into a CJ Series PLC rack, handling protocol-level serial data exchange between the CPU and field devices like drives, HMIs, or remote I/O. It terminates field wiring via spring terminals — no screw torqueing, just strip and push — and snaps onto the DIN rail alongside the CPU and other CJ1W modules.
Approvals and compliance for global installs
The module carries CE, cULus, Lloyd, and NK approvals, covering European machinery, North American panel builds, and marine-class installations (Lloyd's and Nippon Kaiji Kyokai).
