The Omron CJ1W-TC003 is a Temperature Control Module that fits the CJ PLC series, giving you 2 analog inputs that cover thermocouple types B, J, K, L, R, S, T and 2 solid state outputs. That covers most common industrial temp loops — from oven zones to motor bearing wells — without needing a separate signal conditioner. It mounts on a DIN rail and terminates via screw terminals, the same footprint as other CJ1W modules. That means no extra panel work if you're swapping in a similar slot.
Compared to siblings
The CJ1W-TC002 gives you 4 analog inputs and 4 outputs in the same form factor — that's your go-to for multi-zone ovens or multiple bearing temp points on a single card. The CJ1W-TC104 is the RTD-only sibling (Pt100, etc.), also 2 inputs and 2 outputs but with a different sensor front end. If you wire in a thermocouple now, the TC003 is the one; if you need resistance probes, step to the TC104.
