Integrator note – two-channel RTD controller
The Omron CJ1W-TC103 is a dedicated two-channel RTD temperature control module for the CJ-series backplane. It accepts 2 analog RTD inputs and drives 2 solid-state outputs, all through screw terminals. The module mounts on a standard DIN rail within the CJ rack. Approved for CE, cULus, and marine applications (Lloyd, NK).
CJ1W-TC103 vs CJ1W-TC001 – not a drop-in
Physically identical form factor and same CJ-series family, but the CJ1W-TC001 offers 4 analog inputs (thermocouple types B/J/K/L/R/S/T) and 4 solid-state outputs, versus the CJ1W-TC103's 2 RTD-only inputs and 2 outputs. Wiring and I/O mapping differ significantly; the TC001 cannot read RTD sensors without external converters, and the TC103 cannot read thermocouples. If your BOM calls for 4 loops of thermocouple input, the TC001 is the correct part – the TC103 is for smaller RTD-specific applications.
Mounting and integration
Snaps onto a DIN rail in the CJ-series rack. Screw terminals are used for field connections.
