Overview
The CJ2M-CPU34 is an Omron CJ2M-series PLC CPU unit with built-in EtherNet/IP, supporting up to 2560 I/O points and a program capacity of 30000 steps.
Applications
As a CJ2M-series CPU, it serves as the central controller in machine automation, packaging lines, material handling, and process control systems that require distributed I/O and high-speed networking.
The 160K words data memory (DM: 32K words, EM: 32K words × 4 banks) supports large data tables and recipe storage, while the 30000-step program capacity accommodates mid-sized control applications. Built-in EtherNet/IP at 100 Mbps enables high-speed plant-floor networking and integration with other EtherNet/IP devices, and the 1.4 µs scan time provides fast logic execution for time-critical processes. The RS-232C and USB interfaces allow direct connection to programming tools and legacy serial devices, and the optional expansion slot supports additional communication modules.
