The CP1H-X40DT1-D is a 24-input, 16-output PLC from Omron’s CP1H series. It runs on 24 VDC, packs 32K words of memory, and will accept up to 7 expansion modules. The output side has four high-speed pulse outputs alongside twelve solid-state DC outputs – handy if you’re running a few steppers or simple positioning moves without a separate motion module.
Both have 24 digital inputs and 16 outputs. The CP1H-X40DT1-D supports up to 7 expansion modules and has 4 pulse outputs plus 12 solid-state DC outputs, while the CP1L-M40DR-D is limited to 3 modules and uses relay outputs. The CP1H also has a two-digit red LED display; the CP1L has no display. If you need pulse outputs for motion or plan to expand I/O, the CP1H is required.
