PLC floor specs for a lift station
The Omron CP1L-EM40DT1-D is a 24 VDC programmable logic controller in the CP1L series, packing 24 digital inputs and 16 solid-state outputs into a chassis- or DIN-rail mount package rated 0–55 °C. No display, battery-backed RAM holds 32K words of program over power loss — useful where the wet well cycles power with the pump.
Network and expansion
Built-in Ethernet handles the Modbus TCP or EtherNet/IP connection to the SCADA master; an option-card slot lets you add serial, DeviceNet, or a second network later. Expansion stops at three extra modules — plan your I/O count before the BOM freeze. Analog or temperature modules are a separate order; the CP1L-EM40DT1-D leaves the expansion bus open for up to three slices.
