This Omron CRT1-ID08TA-1 is an 8-point digital input module in the CRT1 remote I/O family. It sits on a DIN rail and brings eight discrete signals into a CJ, CS, or NJ-series controller via a rectangular bus connector with screw terminals for field wiring.

What it is not
The CP2E-E20DR-A is not a second-source or drop-in for this module. That part is a CP2E-series CPU with both digital I/O and relay outputs, a completely different form factor, and AC power. If the panel is wired for a CP2E-E20DR-A, the CRT1-ID08TA-1 won't fit the backplane or match the I/O architecture without a full rewire and PLC change.
