What This Module Does
The CRT1-ID16SY: 16 discrete input points on a single CRT1-series module. That’s the count – 16 sink/source inputs for remote I/O nodes in machine control or conveyor line sensing. No extra channels to program around; the I/O map stops at 16 points. Type is Input Module, so it reads field-device states – limit switches, proximity sensors, pushbuttons – and passes them to the controller over the CRT1 network. No output or mixed-signal confusion.
