Where it fits in a sourcing decision
If you arrived here wondering about the CP1W-32ET sibling you saw on the BOM, note: that part is an output module, not an input, and it belongs to the CP1W expansion series — different part family, different backplane protocol, different wiring scheme. The CRT1-ID32SH-1 won't drop into a CP1W slot, nor does it replace a CP1W-32ET on the same terminal plan. For an input-side match on a CRT1 remote rack, this is the right order code.
Wiring and panel fit
Termination is via rectangular connector or screw terminal — no special tooling needed for field wiring. The 32 points are addressable per the CRT1 I/O map; commissioning stays straightforward because the module's identity is set by the backplane position, not DIP switches. Operating range -10 to 55 °C covers most panel interiors without active cooling.
